I love my grandpa but whenever he was holding Jack or talking about him he always referred him as a her and was saying things like she is such a cutie pie. What a cute girl. I can't even tell you how many times he said things like that we always had to correct him with the her to he. This would be a instance of a mothers worst nightmare is having her son be called a she or visa versa. I know he is geting old and losing his memory I mean for heaven sakes his 82. But it was just disturbing to hear those words.

That is too funny, I had someone do the same thing, and all you want to do is scream ITS A BOY!!!! Of course we think there is nothing girly about our boys and how could someone confuse this...but i guess when babies are this small they tend to look kind similar boy or girl, but I agree it can get annoying.
Hang in there Hina Joy, my mom dressed me in pink dresses and I was still called a boy by the ol' folk, granted I had no hair until 3 but hello pink dress...they did it with boy of my kiddos too.
