Jack's First 4th of July Fireworks

For the fireworks we went to a park in Kanab UT where everyone in town was there; even those from Fredonia or other little towns that are nearby. The fireworks didn't start until nine o'clock because that was when the sun actually went down. They were so much but very loud I thought Jack was going to go deaf after hearing so many popping sounds but he loved them. He didn't cry but just stared at all the bright lights. But before the fireworks my Aunt Holly brought some little stick that you light and then they sparkle and crackle and we played with some of that before the big light show was to come on. It was just something to do to kill time. But as a family we had a great 4th of July and we loved each moment we got to spend together. Especially with our sweet little boy.

Sounds like you had a great time, I haven't even heard of those places, but it reminded me of back home with the parade.
