Patti and I decided to take the kids to the park so that they can burn off some energy and have a good time being in the great outdoors instead of being couped up in the apartment all day long. Jack had a great time going up and down from the playground and loved going down the slides. Unfortunately, there was a mishap and Jack got a bloody lip. But that didn't stop him from still enjoying himself at the park.
I really don't mind parks at all, the only thing that really bothers me is older children being at the park and really not being considerate about all of the other little children that are around. What's worse is when parents of these children don't keep an eye on them and what they do. Plus, parks get to crowded way too quickly. Its like you can't really go anywhere or do anything without being in someone elses face or space.
I will never understand children or boys who think that fighting is soooo cool and in thinking that beating up another kid will make them more macho. While we where at the park, Stapley Junior High just got out and many of the boys from that school got in a crowd and two boys went at it and just started to beat the day lights out of each other. Seriously, what is that all about. My friend Patti had to go and break up the fight because the kids would stop, it was just awful.

Sounds like you guys need to find a safer park:). I'm glad the little kids weren't hurt. At least you were enjoying this amazing weather we are having.
I just can't believe how much Jack looks like his dad, he's like a little clone:) And he is so grown up looking! I miss seeing you two, I hope all is well and you are feeling good. Take care of you and don't be a stranger:).
