Dr.'s Check Up ( 6 Weeks Old)

Okay so I called my pediatrician and made an appointment with the nurse this is because I had lots of questions regarding Jack's health and behavior. Today's at his check-up Jack weights 11 pounds and 12 ounces and the nurse told me that he was overweight and that I am feeding him way too much food. She also told me that is one of the reasons why he has upset stomachs, he is congested, and why he is so fussy. She said even happy babies who are fed and changed fuss a little so its ok for them to cry but not for long. She also told me not to give him any water with the formula I give him. The formula all ready has water so I don't need to give more only when we have been outside because he might be dehydrated a little. She also said no juices because their little bodies can't digest all that food yet. She also told me that its ok for my baby to be as alert as he is, his just getting older. Overall, he is doing good but is just too fat right now and I need to stop feeding him so much and all my problems should go away.
