Because of all the festivities that we were doing in Snowflake by night time Jack was all tuckered out. I'm going to tell you how Jack did this weekend. Overall I would start my score with a 10 then go to an 8 and then go to a 4. Now let me explain. The car ride to and from Snowflake Jack was an angel, he slept most of the time but would wake up for feeding and play time. Thursday night Jack slept mostly through the night and was awake by 5 in the morning. On friday, I began drinking grandma Schneider's delicous homemade root beer. However, they were very yeasty and this is when Jefferson's & my lack of sleep begins. Friday day Jack would only take like 15 to one hour naps and his naps was like one in the morning and one in the afternoon and then by night time he would go to bed around 7 and would wake up are 11 pm and then go back to sleep and then would wake up by 4 am. Ok this is decent, not too bad. Now on Satuday day he only only take like 15 minutes nap throughout the day so I never got to take a nap, even though their were tons of family to watch him and take care of him no one could really feed him and Jack was very gassy and hurting a lot. Plus he would not take any formula. He just lets it drizzle down his chin and make a complete mess all over him. Jack just wanted mommy to feed him. On a side note I have never heard my child cry so much the way he did on this trip. It was very sad and painful to watch and hear. Satuday night was a disaster. Jack went to bed at like 8 pm and woke up every two hours for feeding and then would go back to sleep and then would wake up again and then eat and then go back to sleep. This happening all night until it was six in the morning. Talk about getting no sleep that's what it was. By morning Jefferson & I looked like zombies. So all we wanted to do was pack our bags and get home as fast as we could. Well lets just say I don't think I will be having any homemade root beer any time soon. So when we got back in town I had to call Meme Jordan and have her come get Jack so that I can take a long nap basically to catch up on sleep and to just have a good night sleep I am having her take him for the night. Yep! No more trips for Jefferson & I for a long time.

I sooo feel for you and know exactly how you feel. Part of the reason I wanted to stop breast feeding as well (aside from my milk supply never being where it should have been) was because no matter what I ate Jack seemed to be seriously gassy, and yup carbonation does the trick! Anyway since we have been in Chicago we had to lug poor Jack around the big city while family was in town for these long 8 hour days. Jack would be in a stroller or his car seat pretty much the whole time, he was miserable and so was I. Our little ones just freak out when they are taken out of there normal everyday routine I think!
