Utah Trip

Last Thursday was my last day working for Rollins & Petersen Orthodontics and my new journey to working with Dr. Davis. I am super excited for this new adventure that I will be embarking on. Enough of that. Today Jack and I are packing our bags to go and see one of my dearest best friends Charisse Brownlow in Orem UT. A bonus, she has a little guy named Carson who is only two weeks older then Jack which is perfect. Before we left this lady from the restaurant Wildberry gave Jack a book on Bugs’ Bunny but instead of wanting to read it he just wanted to chew on it. During this time he has been teething really badly. It was so sad when we walked down the terminal leaving Jefferson behind. Jack gave him the saddest little face. During the flight Jack was pretty good except for when it was his bed time then he got a little cranky and I had no milk for him to drink to soothe him down. When I got water on the airplane it cost me $2.00 how ridiculous is that. When we landed it was pouring rain. I had to carry Jack plus my two carry on which was a purse and a diaper bag to go and get my luggages from the carousel. Trust me it was hard getting my luggage plus the car seat and having a kid on my arm. Luckily I had a bit of help with my luggage but still its very difficult to travel with an infant. Anyways, Jeff Charisse’s husband came and got us. It was hilarious watching him carry my purse and diaper bag and run with my luggage. I thought that I was going to pee my pants it was so funny. When we where driving home I thought I would see my life flash before my very eyes it was raining hard. I could barely see outside the window and we where on the free way no less with tons of semi trucks all along the way. It was scray. Anyways I had such a big headache that as soon as we got to Charisse’s home I put Jack to sleep and I too fell asleep at eight old at night.
