4-24-09 - I can't believe that its been one year now since our sweet little Jack came into our lives. Its just a miracle and a blessing. For Jack's birthday we first went to the Doctors for his one year check-up everything went really well, these are his stats, I lost the paper that the Dr. gave me but when I do find it I will enter in the info.:
Height he is in the 90% percentile
Weight he is in the 60% percentile
Head Circumference he is the 50% percentile
So all in all he growing just perfectly. However, poor little guy has been coughing up a nasty storm and throwing up here and there and has been having on and off fevers and has been congested liked crazy. He snores at night because he can't breath through his nose. Its the saddest thing to hear and see. Dr. Leavitt checked Jack and said that everything is looking good, no ear infection, nothing. The only thing he has a tiny cold that he has to overcome. It really bugs me when Dr.'s say that there is nothing that they can really do for this cold but for it to run its course. I just hate seeing my cute little kid being sick and not being happy like his old self. Doctor said that I can give him now whole milk, and all peanut butter and all because we have no past signs of allergies with it and that Jack can eat whatever we are having which is so awesome because I hate buying those baby foods. When you buy enough of those they add up pretty fast and can cost me a bundle. Following the doctors, we went to McDonalds for a family breakfast to celebrate Jack's birthday. Then we went on a super fun family bike ride. Jack really enjoys being in the great outdoors. Like I said before, if he would have it his way he would live outside 24/7. Then both daddy and Jack got there hair cuts so that they can look super handsome for Jack's birthday party on saturday. I was soooo proud of Jack, when Norma started using the clippers on him he sat there like an angel and let her clip and cut his hair. I was so impressed and amazed with my adroable and handsome boy. When he was done I just wanted to kiss him all over he looked so good. Then we went over to Meme's and Grandpa Jordan's house to celebrate Jack's birthday with cake and ice cream. It was a blast and Jack was in total shock he didn't even know what to do about the cake or candle. Thanks Meme for doing this for Jack. The part that he liked the most was hiting the balloons. Happy Birthday Jack, Mom and Dad love you soooo much no words can even begin to express the way we feel about you.
