Camping In Sedona

July 24 2009

Today we drove up to Sedona to go camping and to go to slide rock. The night before I had only gotten two hours of sleep so driving at four in the morning was really hard for me plus it was hard driving with my siblings who didn't know what the word "QUIET" meant. During our drive my mom kept yelling at the kids and telling them to be quiet or else she was going to kick them out of the car which she would never do but she was very grumpy that morning. After three hours of driving we finally made it to our camp site which was at the top of the mountain because every where else was taken and each campground said FULL. There to greet us was my uncle Nick and his family. They are a BLAST to hang out with. The weather was beautiful and it was so peaceful and calm up there. If i had tons of money I would total live up there. The red rocks where so pretty and the brown homes I just totally loved. The hardest thing about the whole trip was the bumpy roads and the switch backs. I get really bad car sickness and to keep swerving like the way we did I thought I was going to loose ten pounds of nonstop vomitting but good thing I didn't. I just don't enjoy windy roads, they are so unnecessary.

(Poor little Jack fell down and hurt himself)

I'm the same way with getting car sick, it stinks! Sounds like you had fun though!
