This weekend we went up to Snowflake for the 24th of July. Every year during this time they hold a fun 2-mile run and a 10K kind of like here during thanksgiving time for the turkey trot. Well Norma Jean (MIL) and Jefferson decided to do the 2-mile run and they did very well. Overall for the 2-mile was like 90 people running and about 40 people running for the 10K. Thanks to Wes Reeder running with Jefferson like 4-5 miles during some days of the week and for Jefferson's competitive personality he came in 16th place and had a time of like 16 minutes. I was so proud of him. This was no easy trail to run, there were like 7 hills he had to bypass and the altitude was very different then it is here. My MIL Norma Jean came in 36th place but she was just running for fun so she would have come in sooner but she got a metal for being the second woman in her age group to come in. Jeff (FIL) & I were so proud of them and felt like they did a fantastic job. Oh in the last picture is Jefferson's cousin Nick Stratton who was the first person to cross the finish like for the 2-mile run. He was awesome. Good job everyone.
