Snowflake 24th of July Parade

Every 24th of July, Snowflake has a big parade and has different themes every year. This year was like Women the heart and soul of pioneer, I am not sure if this is exactly it but its pretty close. Every year we manage to get seats underneath a big tree and on the opposite side of the street so that the sun is not facing us. However, this year we did not get so lucky and before the floats got to our ends of our street we were all complaining about the sun just beating down on us and we were beginning to get all sweaty and gross. Poor Jack was not very happy during this parade because of the heat & sometime the sun was hitting his face. Sad to say but we left the parade half way and went back home to Grandma Schneider's home to rest and to get some cool air. Overall, the parade had some fun floats and it was entertaining to watch when the floats finally made it to our side of the street. I even saw some good friends of mine from my family's ward, it was the Tobin's. What a small world we live in.
