We're HOME!!!!!!!!!!

July 22, 2010

After being in the hospital for two days I felt so good, my body felt great and I felt like I could just pick up and go go go. However, this evening everything turned for the worst. Late at night I started shivering like crazy, I had two warm blankets on top of me and I still couldn't stop shivering. So I had Jefferson help me to the bath tub so that I could take a SUPER HOT bath but that didn't seem to help. Then I picked up a fever of 103 degrees, on top of that any time I moved my head it would just kill and my temples would kill and my eyes and just everything with my head just killed. Plus, I was lacking a lot of sleep because Adelynn had to be feed every three hours according to her pediatrician because of her Jaundice. Plus, every time I tried to sit up I would get major cramping that totally killed like crazy. I really felt like I was on my death bed. On top of all that I couldn't stop coughing and peeing and my nose kept on running like crazy. This went on for about 4 days before I said enough was enough and I had my mom take me to the emergency room becaue I needed some serious medication. I waited in the emergency room for six hours before I got any meds in me and before I started to feel better. However, on top of all this craziness my left leg started to cramp and swell to the point that I could barely walk on it. Thus, I felt like I was on bed rest and I couldn't go anywhere without help or do anything for that matter. Even my own OBGYN doesn't know how my leg could have gotten that way. Also, they had taken some blood work and found out that I have elevated liver enzymes and I am to see an Internal Medicine Specialist in September. I feel like everything that I didn't have with Jack I am having with Adelynn. Thus, I have to say that this is the first time I have experienced Mastitis and let me tell you that it is the pits and I would never want to wish it upon anyone at all. It really stinks to have it and it is so unbareable. These past two weeks (7-22-10 to 8-03-10) have been nothing but Doctor visit after Dr. visit and for me to recooperate from my near death experience. All I have to say is that I am so happy that we live in a world that have medication because I don't know what I would do without it.
