Slide Rock

July 24 2009 Continuation

Later that morning we went to Slide Rock. The weather was perfect but the water was so stinkin cold. I jumped off one of the cliffs and as soon as I hit the water I was instantly swimming to get out as fast as I could. There where so many people there and even people that where tourist. Although the one thing that I couldn't figure out was why some girls and women came in their bikini's. My theory is that the water is freezing why not wear as much clothing as you can so you don't freeze so badly. Oh well! I guess I will never figure that one out. Even Jack got to experience slide rock and the water. Jack had been so ancy and had wanted to get into the water really bad that my dad in his swimmer suit took Jack down the slide. He was ok at first but after the dip he started to cry like crazy. It was all too funny. Anyways since I had only gotten two hours of sleep the night before I decided to go back to the van and sleep in there but i forgot to get the key so I couldn't roll down the windows, and instead of dying of heat in the car and sweating like crazy I decided to take my pillow to one of the lunch benches with my cell phone and sleep. It was so uncomfortable and I had the biggest neck pain in the world. I definently learned never to do that again. But Slide rock was fun and Jack really enjoyed himself.
